Purples and greens in this quilt make Blocks and Posies look like violets in the greenery.  It is just beautiful.  Two blocks, the Checkerboard and the 4-patch show their stuff here and make this a quilt to remember.  The border has an appliquéd vine with large flowers that are stitched around the edges in a primitive buttonhole stitch with black floss.
